🌈 SUMMER FAYRE

🌈 Rain and wind threatened the day, but we didn't let it stop the fun filled festivities, and it was an absolute joy to behold.

💗 You came and joined in and spent your hard earned cash, donated cakes, feasted and painted and scored goals and sang and shared our incredible school community. Thank you for being part of something so magical. The money raised is staggering, and we will be updating you in September regarding our next big whizzy spend!

✨️A huge thank you to all those who volunteered to help with the event on the day, including all the staff from school. Set up and clear down was the quickest and smoothest it has ever been, so please sign up again next year! More volunteers meant that more games were played, which, in turn, meant more kids were happy - hurrah! When we wandered around, every stall was filled with laughter and chat so thank you so much for giving your time so generously.

🌟 Behind each event is a core team of organisers who work tirelessly for about 39939393 hours to make the Summer Fayre happen. This year's dream team was led by Nimmy, who co-ordinated the event with so much care, calm, time and attention, which is no mean feat when you consider how mammoth the day is. She was joined by Habib and Sam who worked so hard to get things perfect in the playground, Laura B who organised and collected the donations day after day, Claire and Laura W who rustled up the wonderful refreshments ( 200 slices of 🍕  consumed), Katie who organised the brilliant bike stall, Usmaa and family for the beautiful henna, Helen for manhandling the shredding and lucky dip, Lauren for cash counting (imagine all those 10ps), Beth B for creating the much loved soft toy stall, Team Facepainting lead by Sian (the only stall that needs crowd control) and the sugar coated, candy floss crew lead by Bonny and Jenny!

💥💫 Special thanks to all those who helped entertain us -

⚽️🎾 KH Rangers, Moseley Tennis Club and CWC Development for all the sports themed games. Do check out their websites and social media for clubs this summer.

🎶  Ms Mapp & the amazing school choir and Sam, our super talented site manager for the fabulous shows.

🎉 Mr Clabon and Mr Court for being such good sports (again)!

🎈 A final thanks to local businesses who donated food and prizes - Birmingham Brewery, Papa Johns, Spice Merchant, wonderful Allison from the school catering company for her cakes,  Early Bird, How Brave Is The Wren, The Heath Bookshop, Julia's Scissors, Graft Pilates, Rush Trampolining, Moseley Tennis, Guthrie & Ghani and Disco Kids. ❤️  If you are shopping local then please do support them where you can. ❤️
