2024-25 round-up
💫 We wanted to reflect on how much we have managed to achieve over the academic year. Please take a look at the attached poster which highlights money raised, events delivered, and plans for spending.
🌈 We hope that you have enjoyed the variety of events that have taken place, from the inclusive, good vibes of International Evening, the sweaty dance floors of the discos and the festival feel of the sponsored event and Summer Fayre. These events have two aims; to raise money to make your child’s experience at school more enriched and fun, and to bring children and parents together to strengthen our community. ❤️ A huge thank you to all those who volunteered this year. Events just wouldn’t happen without parents giving up a couple of hours of their time to plan events or help run the stalls. Our outgoing Yr 6 parents have been incredible and instrumental in helping with events so we want to send a huge thanks 🤩 and wish them all a restful break from the green aprons!
🙌💫 This does mean that there will be a volunteer void next year and we are relying on our existing parents to fill it by lending a hand so we can continue to run the events that delight the kids and raise money for things like the Literature Festival, pantomime, science days, school equipment as well as a new playground. Please do let us know if there is anything we can do to make volunteering easier, more details about volunteering here.
💫🌈 Finally, the PTFA is looking for new committee members from September. The PTFA meets once a term and each member has a limited set of responsibilities to perform each year. Roles include chair, secretary, treasurer, fundraising co-ordinator, communications and events planning. These roles could be shared with other parents or done on a termly rotation so we would love to hear from anyone who has an interest in getting involved. The more people who join, the less onerous each role will become so please do get in touch for more information at helpkhps@gmail.com
